There's one case of an ad hominem that is ALWAYS a fallacy:
The favorite atheistic "you're religious, hence you are an uneducated idiot and your religiousness is borne solely out of scientific ignorance".

Notes:
1. This often comes from people who themselves show zero knowledge of even the most basic science like biology or physics.
They just chose to believe it with the same zeal that a religious fanatic feels towards their religion.
2. There are quite a few scientists who are religious, and religious leaders with a university degree in science.
The two have no counter-correlation, unlike what atheistic fanatics believe it to be.
3. Even if the religious side actually is quite uneducated, that doesn't mean that the atheist side has any valid points based on actual science in the discussion to begin with.
More than often, it literally boils down to a cat-fight between "snobbish science thumper atheists" -vs- "arrogant holy-than-you fanatic theists".
Neither being the RIGHT side objectively - yet going at a  full-out insult-a-fest all over the text.

So, yeah, just wanted to share this point. :p
Sorry I took so long to respond T-T I like the idea of your rating system and can't wait to see it in action! I'm sure you've already used it, but I'm still excited lol. If you wanna rate books then let me know, I need more reviews on my book :)

Hope you're well, can't wait to hear from you. Happy New Year!!!
Huh, you know I was just thinking "I should contact some people I havent' contacted in a while" and here you are^^

No, I haven't used it yet. Sadly, I'm the kind of person who has a difficult time going from concept to finished work. I mean, instead of actually starting to write or draw the images and stories in my head I've been a bit too comfortable just brainstorming them D: I sort of started to write a random short story (more as an excercise) a while ago but I'm not sure if I'll ever finish it.
Look at us being all like-minded and stuff!! Haha. It's great to hear from you!!!

Maybe I can help? Maybe what you need is some encouragement! I know I wouldn't have finished any of my books if I hadn't had the amazing support and encouragement to do it!
Hey River, I've just remembered that you where interested in me as a beta reader a while ago.

So, I've thought about it and I'd actually be down for that. Maybe reading early drafts of someone elses stuff helps me with my own writing.

So if you have any manuscripts that you still need people to look over for I'd be interested.

The story is more of an excercise to see how my writing skills are since I've NEVER wrote any kind of story before. So far it looks decent enough for a first draft even though it's not done yet. Also, it has accidental dildo imagery in it... yeah, I didn't noticed how my description comes off until relatively late in the writing process.

Watching videos on writing also helps. I've however noticed that in the US, writing techniques I learned in middle school seem to be taught primarily at universities as advanced writing.

And the problem with a story idea of mine is mostly just that I want to make it as a comic and I don't really have the proper skills yet to actually do that.

I'd actually like to put my system to the test and maybe I'll read one of your books one day.
